GetNZActive Pre Conference Course 2010
After Adams successful Low Back Pain pre-conference course in 2009 (which was booked out) he is back again this year to run his popular Shoulder and Knee seminars. These seminars have been attended by over 1500 Personal Trainers and Exercise Physiologists from around Australia and South East Asia so book early to avoid dissapointment.
Shoulder Pain and Injuries: Specific Exercise Prescription (morning session)
This seminar is vital to anyone working in the rehabilitation, gym or personal training environment – the shoulder is one of the most commonly injured joints in the body! The exercises you prescribe to your clients can be harmful. Learn to be more specific than “if it hurts, don’t do it”.
Physiotherapists, doctors and specialists are starting to refer patients to those providers and gyms they know have further training in dealing with pain and injuries.
Topics include: Theory and practical sessions in:
· Anatomical structure and function of the shoulder and neck.
· Common shoulder injuries and sites of pain.
· Shoulder surgery and rehabilitation.
· Rotator cuff injuries and exercises.
· Postural pain syndromes and exercise correction.
“Adam is easy to understand with functional information that can be used on a daily basis.” Nick Davidson, Shoulder seminar participant 2007
